As much as some men-hating college feminists got on my nerves one has to put it in context. Up until 40 years ago being woman must have been quite unpleasant. Imagine being a woman in a world were all people of authority were men: all judges, all cops, all politicians, all employers, all psychologists and experts, all media bosses ect. A world where voicing dissent or raising accusations as a woman would only get You labeled "hysterical". I guess growing up as a woman in such  world in the 1960s/70s could easily make You become man-hating.
